QHY6 autoguider hangs when first set of images finished and trying to guide when the second one is started

Good night:
I have a serious issue with QHY6 driver.
I use the càmera as autoguider and there is no problem with the first batch of images but when I have more than one scheduled in Ekos then driver hangs and the next batch does not start because of lack of guiding. The only way for QHY6 to be working again is to take power off and put it back on.

I use KStars 3.5.6 Stable running on Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon (Cinnamon version 4.4.8) Linux kernel 5.4.0-91-generic.

I don't feel like replacing the autoguider CCD, it works fine autoguiding so any suggestion will be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hi!

You must be having the same problems we reported here:
indilib.org/forum/ccds-dslrs/9289-qhy-cc...imensions.html#69499

But it seems no solution available. Those problems are persisting for more than 3 years now.
The only solution for now is using PHD2 on linux with native driver. That does not pose any
problem at all.

The camera had problems, then worked for while but stopped working again very recently
on the latest iterations of Ekos/Kstars.

Exactly the same experience with my qhy2pro. Very sad that qhy does nothing to address these issues any more....

PS Quoting seems broken in the form? I don't see the quoted text in my post...
