SBIG-ST7 doesn't work

Hi,
in our school's astronomy room we found a SBIG-ST7. It is the old version which ist connected via parallel-port.
We tried to control the camera using KStars but we can't connect the camera.
In the device-manager of KStars we choose "SBIG CCD".
After we clicked "connect" in the INDIcontrolpanel, the error report "Cannot open SBIG CCD camera device. Device not found" appeared.
We tried to change the port from sbigusb0 to lp0, /dev/lp0, parallel:/dev/lp0 und parport0 but we allways got the error report "Cannot open SBIG CCD camera device. Bad Parameter".
This even happened when the parallel-wire wasn't connected to the parallelport of the computer.
How can we connect the camera to KStars?
Or does the INDI-driver only support the ST7 with USB-connection?

I forgot to mention that OpenSkyImager does support the parallel port SBIG cameras. Its still a beta test, but the software is available on Giampiero's GitHub.
