I noticed in the latest nightly update a new option under the main control tab for USB buffer. I've search manuals and googled for suggestions as to what these values are. Does anyone have any guidance for both USB Traffic and USB Buffer values -I like to know what they are and what the ranges are.
It's for video streaming. It's in bytes from 512 to 4096. Intended to optimize streaming on low end devices like Raspberry PI. For on raspberry pi, increase to 2048 or higher (if you have some memory) and the streaming should theoretically be better. I didn't even test it myself yet as it was added to the new QHY SDK v6.0.5 released yesterday.
I'll run a few test. Right now the camera is attached to an x86-64 system. I'll see if that makes any difference, and then I'll test with RPi4 and a Rock64 SBC. Do you have any documentation on the USB Traffic or speed settings?
