ASI 120 MM USB" won't capture anymore

For some unknown reason my old faithful ASI 120 MM USB 2 refuses to capture. The EKos recognises and all data is OK. It has been awhile ( about year or so) when I used last time. I had QHY 462 but tonight I tried guiding with ASI 120 via ASI 1600MMPro. Also switched directly to Raspberry 4, but didn't make any difference. Please view the video www.dropbox.com/s/ijmsqx6zm2wy4we/Capture%2002.wmv?dl=0
Any solutions or ideas?

The ASI120 is no longer supported by ASI, and so no longer works with Kstars / Ekos....sorry....

On top of that, the ASI120MM is not supported by any OS that I know of of up to 5 years old and sometimes even older. However, there is a compatible firmware that the camera can be flashed with and then you may be lucky and get it to work at 8 bit. I have tried this myself several years ago but to no avail and I have switched to the USB3 ASI120MM-S. FYI this has been discussed MANY times on this form so if you search on internet you're bound to find several of those discussions.

Hi,

Read this post if you are using Raspberry pi 4 4GB board. indilib.org/forum/astroberry/8535-astrob....html?start=12#65530

If you are using RPI4 8GB board, try to downgrade the VL805 eeprom to 000137ad.

Don't ever use 0138a1 eeprom firmware if you still using such old camera like me. :)

Regards,
Tom

Hi
Our old zwo120mm usb 2 works fine with this firmware:

As a bonus, it also works when attached to usb3 ports and hubs.
Cheers and HTH

Hi
There's a readme file in the same folder:
drive.google.com/file/d/17SuwrJaj9T1uEG_...S-h/view?usp=sharing

Just choose your processor type.
Cheers
