QHY600 1x1 binning mode

QHY600 1x1 binning mode was created by Sonny Cavazos

I have having an issue downloading QHY600 in 1x1 binning mode.  I have updated everything I know, the download works on astroberry (in the kstars RPi4 environment) but it does not allow my windows session to download the 1x1 image, the 2x2 image works, however it never transfers the 1x1 image.

I wonder if this is related to USB bandwidth? qhyccd-85.rules file has this line AFTER you plugin the QHY:
sudo echo 1024 >/sys/module/usbcore/parameters/usbfs_memory_mb

Does it help in any way?

No, it did not help.

I verified via cat /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/usbfs_memory_md did show 1024.

I did get this error in syslog:

Mar 13 10:34:38 telescope kernel: [50852.468861] usb 2-2.1: usbfs: process 3741 (indi_qhy_ccd) did not claim interface 0 before use

It does appear to download the image, however it does not display in KStars (Windows Nightly) -

If I run kstars on the RPi4, it does work and downloads the image, however in Windows, I can only get 2x2 to work with the QHY600

I will look at the logs more.

Also result is the same if I use a Ubuntu 20.04 KStars client.  Both Windows and Ubuntu can download 2x2 but not 1x1 binning QHY600.

Logs do indicate download complete, but it never shows up in KStars.

Was this problem figured out? I am thinking of buying a QHY600 but want to be sure it will work with my setup - Stellarmate on a rPi4 running remotely from an iMac.

Not yet, It looks like it downloads, however never makes it into K-Stars.

Maybe there is a limitation on what K-Stars accepts file size? It is a large BLOB transfer.

Previously you had it working with kstars on rPi, did you try running kstars remotely from windows to rPi? Is this recent windows/Ubuntu problem with PC connected directly to camera via usb?

This is using INDI-Server on a Ubuntu PCB at the telescope system, and I use the Windows Build inside my house as the K-Stars program contol.

If I bin 2X2 it transfers and shows complete and image received by K-Stars.

When I do 1x1 binning, it shows transfer complete, however K-Stars does not log image received by K-Stars.

I need to look at the capture modules and see what the difference is. Maybe timeout, or size limitation, but whatever it is, it's in the K-stars capture module, it does not appear to be in the indi-server itself.

I do recall running K-Stars on the remote PCB, it would work, being directly connected to the camera, it does appear to be an issue when transferring to a remote k-stars from indi-server.

What happens if you save the image remotely on the indi-server instead of locally on the windows client

Yes, it works if I use K-Stars on the Ubuntu PC.

It's when it transfers to the remote computer that has an issue.
