dither distance: how to calculate was created by alacant

Hi everyone
I want a 15 pixel dither on EKOS' internal guider using SEP multistar.

Guide telescope: 240mm focal length
Guide camera: 3.75 micron pixels

Imaging telescope: 420mm focal length
Imaging camera: 4.3 micron pixels

Question: what value do I enter into EKOS' guide option for 'Dither'?

Hi Steeve,

with: astronomy.tools/calculators/guidescope_suitability

you can calculate both resolution:
Guide resolution: 3.22
Imaging resolution: 2.11

ratio is 0.66 so you should indicate 10px for 15px ==> 0.66 x 15
