This started with the ECM cmake message error which Jasem kindly pointed out was caused
by trying to build the latest git code under Buster - must be Bullseye
So now under Bullseye I get
This output is what I got after a git pull from "master" branch, followed by a clean and full make of kstars (08/08/2022).
Well thanks to anyone who looked at this and I'm assuming couldn't reproduce it.
Due to the current inability to procure a spare Rpi4 to try out various 64-bit flavors of Linux, I decided
to use this Rpi4 as my observatory controller. I am awaiting delivery of a Beelink Ryzan 7 miniPC
that I will put Kubuntu 22.04 on to get back to Kstars/Ekos.
I got same issue when compiling 3.6.0 on raspberry OS based on bullseye. I solved this by deleting last line with GenerateProperties in kstars/Options.kcfgc.cmake
Thanks for that nou. I went ahead with the Beelink Ryzen 7 running kstars-bleeding and its much easier
to run than the Rpi4 (even thru VNC). I have been accused of being too stubborn sometimes - so I just moved
on from the Rpi4. So far its been the right decision.
Please - has anyone made progress or have a solution to the ‘…too many signals to create unique bit masks’ problem. I’m trying to upgrade from 3.6.0, but can’t get beyond the above error.
I haven’t gone as far as trying to completely remove kstars/indi from my system before reinstalling - would that help?
