Here's a future suggestion to make Guiding Calibration better

When using the scheduler EKOS often needs to recalibrate the guider since I use an auto-rotator. But EKOS calibrates wherever the mount is pointing, which often is not ideal. The best place in the sky to calibrate is near the meridian and celestial equator - on the same side of the meridian as the target. I nice feature would be to have an option to allow EKOS to slew to this ideal part of the sky to calibrate and then slew back to the target to re-align, start guiding and imaging.

I'm guessing it would also be possible to adjust the calibration for the effect of rotation (assuming that is the only change) and thereby reuse the existing calibration. It could either get the angle of rotation from the rotator or by plate-solving.
