Yes, it is because I do a check to see if the desired location actually exists. But of course, this folder does not exist. I will add an option to create the folder if it is detected that it doesn't exist.

Please keep testing and find any other issues.

I made some slight changes to the source code and got it to work well on Linux.

I tested the new Mac version and all is good.
The Setup panel is open on the first run if Python and indiweb is not installed.
The GSC install work fine, without problem with the default directory.

Then I compiled and tested on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 x86_64). No problem after installing the cmake requirement.
The application work fine.

The requirement I have to install, this is in addition to everything need to compile INDI
sudo apt install extra-cmake-modules qtbase5-dev libkf5config-dev libkf5kio-dev libkf5doctools-dev
