Yes,, using the roof simulator works on my laptop but not on the observatory machine. Same OS and supposed to be the same KStar and INDI version. But they obviously differ in some way and I will try and track that down.
Thanks

So either the INDI or the kstars version is different. Have you tried it crossover, i.e. kstars one one computer and INDI on the other?

Guess I took the scenic route locating this. It was simply in the ParkData.xml that the status was set to false for both the simulator and the actual driver.

Thanks for the help.

I've been testing the Weather Safety Proxy today in combination of this Observatory tab, I have noticed that there is nothing to park the scope.
I know this is for a dome, but I do think the option to park the scope should be there, unless I'm not seeing it thanks.

great tab by the way, nice work.

Gonzo,
I think it relies on the existing control settings.
Rolloff roof driver:
Snoop device: Telescope driver name
Telescope Policy: Ignore Telescope
Auto Park: Enable
Telescope driver:
Snoop Device: Roof driver name
Dome Policy: Dome Parks

One issue in mine being on the small side, the roof moves quickly & passes the scope while it is still relatively high.
