For anybody who was waiting for it, the OS X build error in INDI with endian.h was just fixed by the author of the change, so it should be all good now

@rlancaste There is a limitation on the number of url links you can have in a post

Oh I see, do you know what that limit is?

Ok, I will try to limit links to 5 or less in a post. Thanks!

Also, do you know why it didn't give me some sort of error message? it also didn't give me one when I entered the wrong password.

Thanks. I had an out-of-date version of that page open in my browser for some time. The "forked-build" helped, as well as actually following your instructions :)

So whether it is forked-build or just build depends on how you configured it in build-env.sh. One complexity there is that I changed it a lot in the last few days and a couple of times I pushed without remembering to reset the options.

I'm running Beta builds on both the MacBook and the StellarMate. Do I have to be concerned with keeping those two code bases aligned or versions not playing nice?

Probably not too much. I always do. I only run into problems when things get too far out of date on either system or when somebody breaks something

Hi, everybody...
First of all, I would like to thank and congratulate all the team in charge of developing this software. This latest update looks fantastic.
I have downloaded version 3.5.0 for OSX. Twice. but when I double-click the image file (kstars-3.5.0.dmg) I get the following message in my MBP, which translated comes to say something like:
"The following disk images could not be opened
Kstars-3.5.0
Reason: This file or directory does not exist"

I'm probably doing something wrong but I don't know what it could be. Could someone be so kind as to help me? Thank you in advance.

Let me see if I understand this. So you downloaded the dmg file, and you saw the file, either in your downloads or desktop or somewhere else on your computer. Then, you double clicked the file that you saw on your computer. And your computer said that the file does not exist? I have to say that I haven’t seen this one before, except when I am working with a failed hard drive and I try to delete or open a file that I see in a folder that is damaged on the hard drive. But that does not sound like the issue here at all, since you just downloaded it, so these are sectors on your hard drive that were just written to a moment ago. I can do some google searches about what else could cause an issue like this, but right now I don’t know. . .

I just took a look, most of the posts were about issues with incomplete downloads or incompatible formats, but none like the issue you reported so far.
