This is my first obsy build and works fine for my needs, it’s a 5’ square converted shed, and holds my EQ8 mount and side by side dual Tak set up, with RPI running Stellarmate for full image capture and mount control.

Isn't your horizon really limited by this? And where does even scope turn? It looks like it will hit a wall.

Nice, simple and light roof structure. Any water leaks from heavy rain?

Like your soundtrack! I was expecting  Thunderbird 1 to come out the roof  !

Not at all as the pier height takes the scope high enough to clear the walls, besides the surrounding houses block out the sky before the shed walls, and it’s 5 foot square more than enough room for my Tak FSQ85 to move around...I agree it does look a bit smaller on the video that it actually is....??

Thanks,
no we have had very strong winds and rain lately and it’s all as dry as a bone....seems to have worked extremely well indeed....
