hi,
I am able to run 3.5.4 on a macbook m1 (official build downloaded) it should run in emulation I believe.
3.5.5 QHY driver does not run correctly on intel nor M1

I tried many libqhyccd.21.dylib version but non worked.
Are you unable to build on M1 because of an issue or because you don t have one ?

Interesting.. I built it on MacOS 11.5.2. Running otool I get this:
libqhyccd.21.10.26.22.dylib:
@rpath/libqhyccd.21.dylib (compatibility version 21.0.0, current version 21.10.26)
/usr/local/opt/libusb/lib/libusb-1.0.0.dylib (compatibility version 4.0.0, current version 4.0.0)
/usr/lib/libc++.1.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version 905.6.0)
/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version 1292.100.5)
So looks like it's using homebrew libusb? That's probably the reason, let me check with Robert on what we can do.
it was actually the libusb file within kstar directory. I tried to replace it with the version within homebrew with a symmlink, but I got an error on wrong platform. I assume homebrew version was for M1, and kstar need an intel. I didn t get further as previous version was working.
I am triing now to build it, but I am currently stuck with qt. there is an error running the script at qt configure ...

Also, I would like to add that I've downloaded Stellarmate from the App Store and seems to work just fine (MacBook Air and Mac Mini, M1 both of course)
