If I want to be able to change my device configuration via EKOS options or INDI control panel, do I have to be connected to the relevant kit with drivers running, or can I do it 'dry'?  I can access all the settings when connected and powered up, but not otherwise. I'd like to be able to configure options for the scope - Barlows, FR's - without having to actually connect.  Then once I've plate-solved I can enter actual values for FL in the different configs.

My kit is connected to my Astroberry which I can access via Webserver and Ethernet. 

If this ain't possible, I'll do it the hard(er) way.
