So I’m still having issues with ekos , When I take an image using my dslr it works fine, But if I use it for plate solving or auto focusing. As soon as it starts to download the image it crashes back to desktop every time , any help appreciated

It would be better if you could share the log files from that moment, but you can give a try to bin 2x2.
Cause when we are plate solving or focusing we take images a lot of quicker than usual capturing, you can check bin 2x2 on both and see if that helps.

To me this sounds like a memory issue.  But I would need logs or details about exactly what happened and when it crashed to be sure.  There are several things you can do though.  Do you have zram installed on the pi?  Can you turn on alignment logging and log to a file?

Always use Ekos Debugger to diagnose crashes. Regular logs won't do.
