No guiding tab in EKOS with my QHY-6 CCD

Dear all,
I'm using an indi server on RPI (with UbuntuMATE 15.10 and the latest indi software which I get from PPA). Have a QHY-6 connected to it as my guiding cam. The capture module works well with this setup. However, I'm not getting a guiding tab. Attaching a screen shot and a kstars.log file.

Any ideas how to fix that?

Best Regards and thanks in advance
Andy

Can't see kstars.log, if it's too big, upload it somewhere and link to it here.

Are you seeing a Guide tab in the QHY6 INDI Control Panel? It seems it's not reporting that it has a guide port.

Thanks for checking!
Unfortunately, I dont see a guide tab (see screen shot).
When I start the indi_qhy_ccd there is an error message. Maybe that's the root cause (see second screen shot).

I asked Li from QHY to look into it. You may also post the problem in QHY website so that it gets more attention.

Thanks! Cross-posted. Do you think its a problem with the QHY drivers? The message does not seem to come from the indi driver code, correct?
Frankly, it seems to be pretty hopeless to wait for QHY support.

Otherwise the driver works quite well, I can capture frames.... its all fine.

Any idea how I could work around this problem?

The current driver is based on QHY SDK and they maintain it but sometimes they are late in responding. Please nag them on their forum. The only way vendor respond to stuff like this is when they see customers raising issues with them.

Ok update. I found and fixed the error in QHY SDK. So I'm informing QHY now so they release a binary soon. If I can get the sources compiled here, then I can release the binary as well.

Wow, this is really good news. Sounds like one step forward. I'll post again on their message board and have created a support ticket.

I spent the last 4 hours trying to get it compiled but too many things going wrong, so they must release the updated binary along with the 1-line fix.
