The issues I listed were mostly long ago problems that have been fixed over time. It was just nice to see everything working again.

Thanks for the help!

One question: I´m using KStars 3.6.0 in a Raspberry Pi 3, and ZWO Camera drivers crashes on start. How can I update to 3.6.1 from git? Is there any tutorial to compile? Do you know when will be available to update using "apt-get upgrade"?

Regards.

This is (likely) not an issue of kstars, but of INDI, especially the libasi from indi-3rdparty. Make sure that one is the latest version that includes libASICamera2.so.1.26

Thanks for the quick reply, but I am not sure about how to check or update indi-3rd party. Could you give me some tips?

Not really, as my Pis run an RPM-based distro. I hope others will chime in there...

This is very unfortunate and makes upgrading for me a no-go. In MacOS 10.15 Apple removed the support for kexts and instead went to system extensions. This affects connectivity with certain USB-serial adapters. For example, the Primalucelab Esatto focuser does not connect to the system extension from SiLabs. I had a lot of issues with this and had to downgrade from an M1-based MacMini to an Intel-based MacMini running MacOS 10.14.

Is there anyone who has 3.6.0 running on MacOS 10.15 with Esatto or Sesto Senso focusers?

I just posted about this issue in another forum post. I think we should address these problems now and see if there is a good solution to this.

Hi,after a lot of problems with ZWO drivers in 32 bits version, I started to compile from git. I´m using Astropi3 in my Raspberry Pi 3.I´m using master branch of Indi (that solves ZWO issues and now it seems ph2 works fine) and KStars branch stable-3.6.0. However now Ekos icon is missing in Kstars, it also happends with latest master version (3.6.1-beta).Should I do something to enable Ekos? Should I use another branch?

Where did you install INDI? You might have to adapt paths in Settings->Configure KStars->INDI.
And check (Serrings->Toolbars shown) that the INDI toolbar is active and (Settings->Configure Toolbars->INDI Toolbar) contains the proper entries.
Also careful when self compiling/installing that you don't have multiple versions interfering.

Hi,

Indi panel is also missing in Settings->Configure KStars. Any idea?

Thanks.

To me this sounds like what happens when KStars gets compiled and it can't find INDI for some reason. I would recommend compiling INDI and installing it and then compiling KStars and installing it, then it should find it. You can use some of my scripts in AstroPi3 as a reference on the commands that are needed to do that. The AstroRaspbianPi script has to build from source.
