Noticed that you're using the CCD simulator in the Solver Options, have you tried to change that to your CCD, have you setup the primary scope and guider specs?

In the screenshot posted, in the solver options, switch that to your CCD and see if the values of the solver changes, if they do please provide them.

It reminds of my thread indilib.org/forum/ekos/3575-solved-remot...unable-to-solve.html I wasn't able to solve much, it turned out that I was using an old astrometry package on my remote server.
Which version are you using?

1. check CCD FOV details are correct and saved as primary on configuration screen tab (first tab).
2. Change Log reporting to verbose
3. Post the log

Platesolving fails for many reasons hence the log is required.

All the Online solver is proving is the image can be solved - that would hint that you parameters/options/indexes are wrong for you offline solver but the log should give a clue.

As "Gonzo" solved your image on his PC set up (even from the command line) you could change the down sampling factor to say 8 in case you are just timing out due to slow processing.and check that the indexes shown in "Gonzo.s" output exist on your set up.

The Log file is the key :-)

For logging i have now checked verbose and output file. For Ekos i have checked 'Alignment'.

I will try tonight (Europe).

I've tried several times your solve-fields command, by eliminating some of the arguments, found out that the following one works correctly on my machine.
# solve-field -O --no-plots --no-verify --downsample 2 -L 42.75 -H 69.3 -u aw -3 284.336 -5 30 mirach_Light_001.fits

Please remove the --resort and -4 90 from the solver options.

I'm using .73

# dpkg -l | grep astrometry
ii astrometry.net 0.73+dfsg-1 armhf Astrometry plate solver
