Hi everyone
This occurs once per session **. The guide star is lost but the scheduler does nothing about it.
I have to intervene; I simply hit 'stop' in the ekos guide window, another guide star is selected and imaging continues.
Would it e possible for the scheduler to recover without manual intervention?

Here is Andy's reply from the PHD2 list. Do we have this already?
I don't know if Ekos has an option already, but if not you could request an option to pause guiding during imaging camera download. PHD2 has the capability to pause and resume guiding and if Ekos were to do this during the imaging camera frame download it would solve the problem. The are other cameras which require guiding to pause during image download and some apps (for example SGP) provide the option to pause guiding during image camera frame download.
