Hello,
I know some of the latest Pentax DSLR are supported in Ekos. However, I tried last night connect my KP without success. Can it be done?
Thanks,

This is a pktriggercord and gphoto2 issue. They have not released updates that include some newer Pentax cameras. Be my guest and give them both a ding on GitHub.

The KP is not supported by GPhoto2/LibGphoto2. You need to fetch the KP’s USB product code and send an email to Marcus Meissner, follow this ‘how-to’: github.com/gphoto/libgphoto2/blob/master...ew-camera-support.md

This is what it looks like in the LibGphoto2 code (the K-70 is the last Pentax camera added):
