WCS FITS header entries in KStars 3.3.3 [solved - maybe not?]

Has there been a change in the latest KStars/EKOS regarding WCS? I just notice the data I'm currently taking don't have the WCS header entries anymore. Last data run on July 7 (same target) taken with 3.3.2 did have them, and to my best knowledge I haven't changed any setting.

Is the WCS still checked in the indi camera panel? I can never get it to be retained across restarts and have to remember to keep checking it.

I couldn't check anymore, as I had already quit the program.
It is working again now, and the WCS is checked (I think you have to check it, and then save your config in the INDI panel). So something must have deactivated it yesterday. I wonder if it might have been ASICAP - I had been running that for some focus tests, and had left kstars and indi running...

Today I was again without WCS. I verified that the WCS field in the INDI settings of the camera (ASI1600) were checked. The logfile has two references to WCS:
[2019-07-26T21:47:10.239 WEST INFO ][ org.kde.kstars.ekos.align] - "World Coordinate System (WCS) is enabled. CCD rotation must be set either manually in the CCD driver or by solving an image before proceeding to capture any further images, otherwise the WCS information may be invalid."
[2019-07-26T21:48:16.489 WEST INFO ][ org.kde.kstars.ekos.align] - "Solver iteration #1"
[2019-07-26T21:48:16.499 WEST INFO ][ org.kde.kstars.ekos.align] - "Starting solver..."
[2019-07-26T21:48:20.778 WEST INFO ][ org.kde.kstars.ekos.align] - "Solver completed in 4 seconds."
[2019-07-26T21:48:20.795 WEST INFO ][ org.kde.kstars.ekos.align] - "WCS information updated. Images captured from this point forward shall have valid WCS."
So I assume it might be related to some later pointing/solving activities that invalidate something? But there had been no solve failures or similar. And the rotation field in the WCS tab showed the (correct) orientation. Not really sure how to further track this down.
