I'm confused on what the difference is between the indi control panel equipment profile screen in Kstars and the Ekos equipment profile that uses the icons for equipment profiles. The attached screen shot show what I'm referring to. on the left is Indi control panel and on right is Ekos. They both seem to allow changes to my profiles but what is purpose of indi control panel?

INDI Control Panel provides All Properties defined by your device. Ekos is just a frontend for these properties to make things more intuitive. Ekos is only a client, there are others that can work with INDI.
