during Autofocus (I use the 'linear' algorithm) I get warnings :

Everything seems to work fine. Can this be just ignored, or might it be a hint to a possible race condition?
I'm wondering the same thing. I recently had the issue that the
automatic autofocus upon a filter change did not work
, and my logs showed the messageWhen I updated Kstars and INDI from the stable ppa:mutlaqja/ppa to the nightly builds ppa:mutlaqja/indinightly, I got the autofocus back. However, the logs still show the same message. This is with an ASI1600MM Pro camera and the ZWO EFW.
It should be uncritical, we are working on it. Some focusers report the focuser position even when the position does not change, while the current version of EKOS expects this only after changes. That’s why this warning shows up. You can ignore it.
Should be fixed with the latest version. There remains one situation where selecting a focus star also creates a warning. But it does not create any harm, it’s simply a minor bug.
But removing it bears a certain risk of breaking focusing, so I first try to get a better understanding.
