CGEM using WiFi from Pi for sky safari was created by Joe

Is it possible to connect sky safari directly to an Rpi4 with its WiFi and control the mount? I’m wondering if buying the WiFi adaptor for my CGEM is necessary?

I believe SkySafari can connect to an INDI server as another INDI Client.

Yes it is possible. Select SkySafari as auxiliary driver and select LX200 in SkySafari. When starting Ekos you need to note the ip address and port for the SkySafari driver and make sure that SkySafari uses those to connect to INDI. No additional hardware needed.

Thank you! I was setting sky safari to my mount and not LX200.
