So...it looks like things updated after a few attempts via the SM app - I was able to connect and run via the app....then switched to local and am now up and stable - Build: 2020-08-28T01:13:29Z....can someone confirm if that is the expected timestamp - thanks

So both the PPA and StellarMate KStars "stable" version is now 3.5.0 Beta. There was no time to backport this to the 3.4.3 branch and rebuild from there, so enjoy the beta now with all the new features.

Thanks for the work on this - I am cranking out images from both cameras with some exerciser tests - seems good - can you share what the bug was? I was reading though the code to see if I could spot it (have an idea) and would love to know the root cause :-)

It was a multi-threaded race condition.

I want to sincerely thank and recognize Jasem's efforts and dedication in putting many hours in resolving this issue by working on my system, from 10000 kilometers away. Having to way for builds on a slower architecture (ODroid C4) every time you make a change is a good test of patience.

Thanks to you Jasem, and thanks to a great community for an excellent astronomical software platform.

Cheers,

Gilles
