I guess this is more of a bug and an issue at the same time but I'm unable to use a debugger to get catch it as it doesn't happen all the time.

I can tell you however that it does occur most of the time after I do my polar alignment and then try to unpark my mount, when it pops up with the dome locking error, even though I don't have a dome nor do I have one set in the setttings.

I then go into my mount options and ignore the dome but sometimes when I try to press it, it won't allow me to press it at all, which I then either have to completely restart my RPi 4 or restart KStars and Indi.

I have seen something like this as well but haven't dug into it yet. I usually just make sure the mount is unparked before starting Ekos.

What mount are you using?

In my case I am using a paramount with TheSkyX as the connection point.

I'm using a HEQ5 Pro with an EQDirect cable to the RPi 4

Have you followed the advice in the post below (and then exited/saved your config)? Once done, it should be stable thereafter (no need to do again). I had this issue originally, but after set, it became a non-issue thereafter.
