Hi,

I cant get connected my lodestarX2 camera on kstars-ekos, on stellarmate with new Raspberry pi 4.
I tried several connections: usb 3.0 hub, directly to rpi4, connected to ASI1600mc-c hub, changing cables...

It happened yesterday with other guiding camera: asi120mm mini usb 2.0... (not detected by kstars/ekos)

Both cameras were working on rpi3 with stellarmate.... but now, nothing at all...

the logs says:
[2020-11-22T18:58:19.336 UTC INFO ][ org.kde.kstars.ekos] - "Unable to establish:\n+ SX CCD\nPlease ensure the device is connected and powered on."
2020-11-22T22:39:08 Unable to establish: + SX CCD Please ensure the device is connected and powered on.

the red led is always on, so the camera is power on ( maybe some cable can't communicate... but I tried 3 diferent)

stellarmate@stellarmate:~ $ lsusb
Bus 002 Device 005: ID 03c3:1601
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub

it doesn't detect all usb devices: asi1600mmc, GPSD, eqmount-USB

any idea about it?

many thanks

I think there was once an issue with USB devices in SM OS v1.5.3 that was fixed in 1.5.4. At any rate, yesterday SM OS v1.5.5 was released yesterday so please try that out and report back.

Yes you can do that if the regular software updates fails for whatever reason. Good luck!
