Time Delay in Frame Transfer

Hi,
last weekend I made my first photo series using RPI with INDI and remote Ekos client via WIFI connection. When I analysed the logfiles today I saw a major time delay between the message upload completed of the INDI driver and the message frame received of Ekos. This delay is about 7 seconds for a guide frame and up to 40 seconds for 12MB picture frames. WIFI transfer rate is about 70 Mbps and seems not to the the root cause.

Any idea what is causing the delay and how it could be reduced?

Many Thanks

It's the network. Try a test using ethernet to see the dramatic difference.

You are right! I replaced the local network communication with router and repeater by a direct WiFi communication by using RPI as a Hotspot.
This simple measure reduced the delay by more than a factor of 5!!

No doubt, the complexity of my local network is the root cause for these delays.

Many Thank!
