Can't save solving method setting in Ekos

I can't seem to get the solving method saved.

In Ekos I select my profile, and start Ekos and my devices connect. I then go into the Align tab and select options and then set solving method to Local ASTAP.
I load an image and it will solve.

The issue is once I close Ekos and open it back up the solving method goes back to Internal Solver.

What do I need to do to have it save my Solving Method preference?

I also noticed that my shortcuts are not being saved in Ekos.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Seems like a write permission. I'm new to Linux so it's been some legwork.

Thanks!

IIRC, these issues were solved n the nighties.

So I gave access content to "anyone" in the following folders and that didn't help (and reboot the Pi/Astroberry). Was not able to save keyboard shortcuts in Kstars. That would lead me to believe I won't be able to save my solving method either.

~/.local/share/kstars
~/.indi
~/.config/kstarsrc

Any other suggestions?

Jasem answered your question already: it is solved in the nightly builds. You will need to wait until a new version of Astroberry gets released that contains the fixes for the issues you reported.

I also noticed that the accuracy # will not save on the Align tab. It returns to 30 after a restart of the program.

Jamie (@fuadramseybass),

I checked it out and you're right that the code to save the align accuracy value was somehow dropped.
I created a fix and Jasem added it to the latest source. I believe it'll wind up in 3.5.2, but we're close to the deadline, so we'll see.
It should be in nightly builds soon. Thanks for the catch!
