Autofocus crashes KStars

Hi all,
after the last updates I can't get Ekos to autofocus, it captures the full frame, identifies the focus star and makes a cropped
image of the star but when the focus process starts it crashes KStars. Anyone with this issue? Using the moonlite driver.
The same issue occurs on x86_64 and MacOS DMG test version.

I would attach the log but the forum is giving an error on text or zip files: File upload failed.
and after that it does not submit the message, "Submit" button becomes unavailable.

Link to the log at least? I'll check out the upload issue.

Here is a shared drive link to the log:

drive.google.com/file/d/0B59wHK33ioWnZThoVnFkZlgzY1k/view

I don't know if the log is helpfull, only noticed this line:

2017-01-22T20:21:53.710 - CRIT - FITS: Failed to copy "/tmp/fitsnS2564" to "home/astro/.local/share/kstars/autofocus/2017-01-22/autofocus_frame_20:21:53.fits

Maybe I will have to use gdb

Yes for crash, GDB backtrace would be useful.

Here is my gdb output, it's libcfitsio who is crashing:

I was using version 3.340-2ubuntu2 and upgraded both server and clients to 3.380-2 but the problem persists.

If you enabled focus logging, you'll have your autofocus frames saved at ~/.local/share/kstars/autofocus .. can you post a link to the last frames you captured?

Sorry to say but, that folder is empty, I have focus logging enabled but it's not saving autofocus images.
I have the date folders created with correct date but they are empty. So something is wrong.
They are only created if using the simulator.

Note: There's something really wrong, I have checked all my autofocus images, and the last time I had them captured
in folder was in 2016-11-14! Can that be possible? From that date on, I have none. I dind't change anything in logging,
always on for all. And I always do an autofocus on every session.

Permission or space problems. Check permission of ~/.local/share/kstars

Hi again Jasem, just checked, permissions are correct and I have plenty of space 150GB free. Also checked filesystem, all ok.
Kstars manages to create the date folder corresponding to session. I just tested again with simulator and it works.
It simply does not put the files in the created folder and that corresponds to the moment of the crash, just after it captures the full frame and
it manages to find the star.

I just checked while monitoring the ~/.local/share/kstars folder. I see the 2017-01-24 folder being created but no files in there.
And again it complains on the log:

2017-01-24T18:31:37.056 - CRIT - FITS: Failed to copy "/tmp/fitsIf4433" to "home/astro/.local/share/kstars/autofocus/2017-01-24/autofocus_frame_18:31:37.fits"

I searched that file in the tmp folder and it's there but it doesn't get into the autofocus folder:

astro@astro-MacBookPro:/tmp$ ls -al fits*
-rw
1 astro astro 77760 Jan 24 18:31 fitsGz4433
-rw
1 astro astro 36054720 Jan 24 18:29 fitshc4433
-rw
1 astro astro 77760 Jan 24 18:31 fitsIf4433
-rw
1 astro astro 30021367 Jan 24 18:26 fitsLh4433

Just don't know how to help more than this :S

No one else has this issue????

AHAH! I think I found the problem!!!

I copied the command used to copy the file and tried to run it:

cp /tmp/fitsIf4433 home/astro/.local/share/kstars/autofocus/2017-01-24/autofocus_frame_18:31:37.fits
cp: cannot create regular file 'home/astro/.local/share/kstars/autofocus/2017-01-24/autofocus_frame_18:31:37.fits': No such file or directory

that's what the log is complaining about! It can't copy the file because.... there is a missing slash "/" in the beginning of the destination file parameter!

it should be: "/home/......" and not "home/...."

I replaced the slash and obviously it copied the file
