Hi!

Last night I returned from a very exciting trip to Chile. First of all I went to see the solar eclipse of July 2 at the La Silla observatory. The night before I took 8 x 10 sec, 7 x 30 sec and 7 x 60 sec with my SkyWatcher Esprit 80 and a Canon EOS 200D DSLR camera of Omega Centauri. That resulted in this HDR image

After the eclipse I went to an amateur observatory where I took these images of the Lagoon Nebula (M 8), the Running Chicken Nebula (IC 2948) and the Dragons of Ara (NGC 6188). All are composed of 15 x 60 sec R, G, B and 8 x 900 sec H Alpha using the same Esprit 80 and an ASI1600MM with Astronomik filters.

Just curious, what is the name of the amateur observatory? By the way, nice shoots. Dark skies help a lot. I hope that one day, I will see such a sky with my own eyes.
