Error starting INDI on MacOS Monterey

I had installed Kstars 3.5.7 stable and it all used to work well. Just over this weekend my laptop has been upgraded to Monterey and now I find that I get an error starting INDI. It says 'INDI server failed to start: execve: No such file or directory'
I have tried to reinstall Kstars but problem persists. Is there a fix/workaround for this?
This is what my INDI log looks like:
to work.

Hello!

I would say try something like this  from Rob.

I am running right now Kstars with no issue on a Monterey unit.

I tried that. In my case Kstars starts correctly and I can use normal functions. But as soon as I click the button to start simulators it doesnt work and gives the error I mentioned above. Its as if it cant find the drivers or INDIserver itself.
Dont even know where these are stored so I can check if they have been installed correctly. And I cant even click on the Kstars/Preferences menu as thats greyed out.

All the drivers are inside the app bundle in /contents/macOS so you can right click, show package contents and see that they are inside.      I did build everything on Monterey and I use it there a lot as well, so it should not be an issue.  One thing you can check is to see if in the kstars  indi settings, maybe your settings got changed so it is no longer using the internal indi server?

If I had to take a bet, I would guess your kstarsrc file maybe got deleted or damaged?

Thanks for quick reply Rob. Where would this file be stored?
I deleted the /Library/Application Support/kstars directory and attempted a reinstall. Same problem again. The menu item for Kstars/Preferences is greyed out

Sorted. Found the offending kstarsrc file in /Library/Preferences and deleted it. Now when I installed Kstars it went to the Wizard and seems to have sorted itself out.
Thanks all

Spoke too soon. The kstarsrc file seems to be getting corrupted quite frequently. Its done this a few times already today and a couple of times in last 3days. It also did a core dump today. I have kept a backup of this kstarsrc file which I am restoring to bring me back online everytime.
