I just wanted to make some adjustments on my setup and looking for a local connection I wanted to use simulator drivers.
Unfortunately they are not in the drivers drop down list neither in kstars or ekos.
Just Atik camera and wheel drivers are in.
But all the drivers are here under /usr/bin
I made a apt-get remove on libindi and kstars-bleeding than install both indi-full and kstars-bleeding.
Same issue no drivers... :S
Moreover I have lost all the config files on my remote drivers :(

Additional question: is it possible to test plate solving without taking picture. Yersterday it didn't work although i have all the fits of astrometry.net installed and correct images taken.

Could those problems be linked like loosing path to some resources ?

Please use kstars-bleeding. You're using bleeding-edge INDI with older KStars.

Hello Jasem,
I re-installed all as explained here:
indilib.org/download/ubuntu.html
But get same result.

Doing a new remove of libindi1 and kstars-bleeding. Than reinstalling only kstars-bleeding as explained here indilib.org/forum/general/210-howto-buil...st-libindi-ekos.html give the same result.

What Ubuntu version are you on? Only 15.10+ supports kstars-bleeding

I use 15.04 and it worked until yesterday. I only apply a light update this morning.
I just made a new complete re-install. I guess that when I install the package kstars-bleeding all the elements are compatible.
I see that kstars is build on kde wb. So I suppose that all that come with it is build to work with this version including ekos.
Am I true ?

I did a lot of mistakes like upgrading from 15.04 to 15.10 that was disastrous: the notebook didn't boot anymore.
On the advices of Jasem I installed Kubuntu 16.04LTS and hopefully all finally works fine.
After some adjustments I get back to a setup Kstars/Ekos/Indi/Drivers fully functional.
So to all that have to upgrade from 15.04 to higher version, avoid upgrading to 15.10.
Someone told me that the reason of the failure is because 15.04 hasn't been updated for too long now and then the upgrade to 15.10 can not be done anymore.
