Hello everybody. I have a problem with kstar, it crashed every time i connect my ccd (Inova Pla Mx) with EQtooth (Eqmod through Ddev/rfcomm0)! I don't know why. I've run on Kubuntu. I've this report of crash:

I'm not clear on what INDI driver you use for this camera?

Hi, thank a lot for your help. Every time i use my ccd alone, there is no problem, the same with Eqtooth. But when i connect the booth, kstar crashed. For this ccd, i use the driver in attachment or on this address ftp://ftp2.m42optic.fr/mopticq/ccd_camera/PLxCam/Drivers_Linux/. I think there a problem with the driver. I use a lat top with a webcam build on. I've checked the port of my ccd i think this the good one. I'am new on Linux and Ekos and indi driver have a lot of powerfull possibilities. Thank a lot for your help.

I have no information on this driver, is there a source code available? Also, can you start the driver from the console and connect to it from KStars?

Some new Linux drivers and Inova Kstar with Indi.
Since the spring, I was not going to see the www.m42optic.fr/ site and all the problems of crash Kstars. And then what a surprise! In http://http://www.inova-ccd.fr/download/E page. 20Drivers/Linux% /, version 4 Linux drivers were there! After updating Kubuntu, they were installed and functional. No more crashes, finished FITS who do not want to appear, the leaves of the walnut tree behind the house are on the screen!

Configuration: Kubuntu 14.04 LTSsur Medion Laptop Pc I3, EQ6, Eqtooth, Inova Pla Mx, bezel Orion 80ED, Skywatcher 254/1200.
Connection between PC and EQ6 via EQTOOTH:
1. Start Konsole.
2 Give the rights IN / OUT to your user. Sudo adduser $ USER dialout
3 Scan Bluetooth devices. Hcitool scan you get the Mac address Eqtooth **: **: **: **: **: **
Sign y 4: sudo rfcomm connect 0 **. **: **: **: **: **
5 Define the connection between the PC and the EQ6 in Kstar (configuration Kstars, Indi) on dev/rfcomm0.
6. Kstars In, Tools, Ekos.
7 Once the shooting ended in Konsole: Ctrl c to suspend the communication between PC and Eqtooth..

Quelques nouvelles des drivers Linux Inova et de Kstar avec Indi.
Depuis le printemps, je n'étais plus aller voir le site www.m42optic.fr/ et tous les problèmes de plantage de Kstars. Et là quelle surprise ! Dans le page http://http://www.inova-ccd.fr/download/E.%20Drivers/Linux/, la version 4 des drivers Linux étaient là ! Après une mise à jour de Kubuntu, ils étaient installés et fonctionnels. Fini les plantages, fini, FITS qui ne veux pas s'afficher, les feuilles du noyer derrière la maison sont à l'écran!

Connexion entre Pc et EQ6 via EQTOOTH :

5. Définir la connexion entre le PC et l'EQ6 dans Kstar (configuration Kstars, Indi) sur dev/rfcomm0
6. Dans Kstars, Outils, Ekos.
7. Une fois les prises de vues terminées, dans la Konsole : Ctrl c pour suspendre la communication entre pc et Eqtooth.
8. Ensuite : sudo rfcomm release 0 ** :** :** :** :** :**
