Kstars doing well was created by Greg

Last night I tried dithering but after my first image, the clouds rolled in and all I got was one shot. But the internal guider worked like a charm.

This is M16, The Eagle Nebula taken with a full-spectrum modified Pentax K-5II at ISO 800 for 8 minutes through an Explore Scientific ED102CF F7 telescope with an IDAS LP/UV/IR filter:

Yes. I 2nd that! Kstars seems very stable in internal guiding and dithering as well.
No problem on my K5IIs also.

So that's a single 8 minute sub? Nice! You must have pretty dark skies where you live.

Thanks guys. I’m have a rural spot. I think it’s about 3.5 on Bortle scale.
