how do i get the real vnc viewer to connect to the stellarmate through a verizon mifi hotspot device. I cant seem to figure out the right ip address for the stellarmate, and not sure if I need to define some ports or something on the hotspot device. the stellarmate is connected to the internet through the hotspot.

Not sure about the Verizon MiFi device.. does it give an IP address to the devices connected to it? does it act like a regular router?

Well it has advanced options that Allow port forwarding like a router would have. I can get egos live to work through it, but need more control than what ekos live can provide. I can see where the mifi assigns a MAC address to the StellarMate, but not an Ip address ?

With ekos live how do you select a target to slew to and how do you change the gain or offset of the camera ?

I'm working on a new update for EkosLive that includes gain, dome, and dust cap controls. Meanwhile, forward ports 7624 and 8624 from MiFi to StellarMate, then if you connect to the MiFi IP from Ekos, you should be able to control StellarMate.

I think if ekos live had the gain and also offset adjustment option that would be sufficient.

so would you consider also adding offset to the new update ?
