Sorry for the stupid question :(
I noticed a strange double marker centered on the Dumbbell Nebula:

and I have no idea where it's coming from. I right-clicked to check labels and flags, but it doesn't look like I have defined anything.
Can someone tell me where it's coming from?

This comes from the object catalogs that you enabled in KStars. Which ones do you have?

Everything except IC catalog had a check. Just tried unchecking all - then kstars crashed :o
But at least I have a trail that I can follow :)

Uh, I think I give up on trying to find it. It crashes every secont time I enable or disable a catalog....

So the green one is (of course...) only the standard DSO marker for planetary nebulae. It's rather the red one, as that is even visible when zooming out to the whole hemisphere. And it's the only one....

Does the red one move if you center on a different part of the sky, say M 13? If yes then it is the center of field marker.

No, it's always fixed and co-located with M27. From the color it could be a telescope marker - but I don't have started INDI/EKOS at all. The symbol is the same as the green 'planetary' - no idea whether it's realted?
So obviously you don't see that one... really strange.
