I'll try again: how do I turn OFF auto debayer. was created by Ron Kramer

With my mono camera it's trying to debayer!!???

I see no off option only method and filter pattern. My MONO camera is giving me random colors. Here's a shot while it's still light out (at the trees)
I had various colors of the stars last night and couldn't turn it off?

WEIRD the color goes away when dark out with enough exposure.

Hi Ron,
Go to Configure KStars in the KStars settings menu on the top tool bar
Go to the FITS tab
There are a selection of features there including auto debayer. Uncheck the box and you should be good to go.

geeze so simple. (and quite sure I turned it on during install and setup). REALLY the debayer option pop up needs a toggle 'no debayer' option in that settings window.
But got it covered - thanks!
