This is not really a problem for me since I have an archived copy of 1.3.0 to fall back on. current purchasers may not have that luxury though. I realize there is no real benefit when 1.3.0 is upgraded but you know how things go

hmmm not sure. Perhaps some SD card issue that leads to these package problems? I have 1.3.2 running and fully updated without any issues.
