New iOptron CEM60 ....

Hi,
I am looking at getting one of the above mounts, and it has built in GPS, so does any user of this mount know if Kstars can use the GPS info from the mount, as I currently use a GPS dongle and would like to forget that...
Also any other issues that I need to know about with the IOptron CEM60 (without encoders)... :)

Hi,
I have been using the CEM60 with INDI from the start... initial quirks were ironed out long ago.

Once GPS lock acquired, I fire up kStars & INDI - it is set to use the location supplied by the mount... works just fine...

Utilises a custom park position (set via the handset initially) at the end of a session....

The parking was updated recently for CEM60 (and others). It now parks to an Alt/Az position, have you tested that? does it work?

My mount is set to park at a custom position - I just hit the "Park" button in Ekos control...
