World Coordinate System is enabled. CCD rotation must be set either manually or by solving the image before proceeding to capture any frames, otherwise the WCS information may be invalid.
1) How do I set it manually?
2) What solves the image before proceeding to capture any frames?
I don't know how to determine the FOV for my guide system using a ZWO camera. I could measure it some evening I guess. Seems like the hard way.
1) When you start Ekos you get a popup called the INDI Control Panel. Open the tab for your camera and then the tab for WCS. You can enter some info there. This however is not what most people do.
2) Ekos comes with built in solver capabilities. Open the Align tab (the one with the Bull's Eye icon), set the Solver Action to Nothing and then click Capture & Solve. This will take an image and perform a plate solve on the image. Ekos then takes the WCS info from that solution.
You can either solve online, where Ekos will send your image to astrometry.net and waits for potentially a long while for the reply, or offline, which requires some of the astrometry.net index files to be present on your Mac. See
