Hi
I have fast broadband but the link keeps failing, 500+, 1.2G+ etc
Is there any way that someone can make this vm ova file available as a torrent file? I have tried over a dozen times today is all sorts of browsers and its really frustrating

Many thanks

Have you tried using a download manager?

EDIT: Btw, it is better to wait a bit for Ekos VM 15.04 based release in the works right now.

Hi knro
Thank you for your help
Finally on about the 100th attempt or close to it, had managed to download the full file but it kept failing the MD5 hash. Last try last night and it downloaded.
All to no avail, could not get it to start in Oracle VM Virtualbox.

So I have installed Ubuntu 4.10 as a VM but now have another problem,

I cannot see any Ubuntu packages for the library on the site, only source files, and there are no instructions about what to do with the source files.
I have developed an ASCOM focuser, which works with the moonlite windows drivers but for whatever reason fails on the INDI moonlite driver,
so I was hoping to get INDI up and running so I could debug why.
But that is proving a lot more time consuming and difficult that I thought,
Where do I find the ubuntu packages for INDI that I can download install and test?

Thanks

Instructions for Ubuntu are right on the download page! Just under "Source" !!!

Yes, found them, thanks

Is there any docs around on how to create a focuser driver for INDI? Or templates I can convert? Instructions on how to compile? the driver?
A point in the direction would be appreciated

Cheers

It's fairly straight forward to create a focuser driver, you check out the focuser drivers shipping with INDI , and you can check the Focuser Simulator implementation. And don't forget to read INDI Developer Manual
