Let me preface that I am able to log onto my Stellarmate via the WiFi using Ubuntu without issues:

When I attempt to use an Ethernet cable things don't go well... I have set my eth0 adapter up:

I have tried this with auto on DNS and off.

I have tried authentication on and off. I have used; user: stellarmate, password: smate and a few other variations. I am stuck at this point on how to achieve a Cat5 connection???? Any tips, what am I missing here?

Cheers
Jim

Configuration issues. On Ubuntu's side you don't need to place the DNS server IP address, all you have to do switch automatic to 'on' and make sure nothing is in the 'Gateway' IP address. Also have to configure the eno1 using the ifconfig command

me:~$ sudo ifconfig eno1 192.168.100.2
password: ########

Now I have to find the config files to make this permanent...
