reverse calibration of internal guider post-meridian flip? [WHERE TO SET?]

Using the internal guider on iOptron CEM40 and want to save/reuse calibration. Pi 4 Raspbian/Buster KStars 3.4.3 nightly.

Flip and post-flip realignment now works great, but guiding "runs away" over & over again after flip.

Where (in the UI) can I set "reverse calibration post flip"? I see a checkbook called "Swap" in the Guider Control, but isn't this going to swap my DEC guiding always (rather than just one east side of pier)?

Or do I need to go back to recalibrating the guider after every slew?

Scott,

Sorry that it's not obvious. It's in the calibration settings.

You go to the guider tab, click on the Options in the bottom right corner, then click on the Calibration section (near the upper left of that popup), and then the checkbox is the bottom checkbox on the pop-up page.

As it turns out it *IS* obvious, but only if I have the right version of the software!

I have to either build from source or switch to a different distro. Installing MATE 20.04 now and will then install from nightly ppa.

I finally built kstars from the git repository on my raspbian Pi4 and now those options are in fact obvious!

Some of your improvements are in the "bleeding" ppa, but these options are only in the "nightly" ppa which isn't available for raspbian.

I also installed ubuntu-mate on a different pi and got that working, but TheSkyX won't run over there (need it for my paramount). So until the store-and-resuse and reverse-DEC-on-flip changes migrate into the bleeding repository, I can just build in raspbian from source.

I would have expected those changes to be in version 3.4.3.
They were submitted to the repo 2 days before the 3.4.3 cut was made, however, I only run from latest source, so I can't attest to that.
Perhaps you're not getting the 3.4.3 release in whatever distribution you're using for Raspbian?

The code was submitted on July 16 and it looks like the release was made on the 18th.

There's a KStars 3.4.3 in ppa:mutlaqja/ppa with SEP multistar guiding but no checkboxes for storing/reusing calibrations or reversing DEC corrections after the meridian flip.

It's impossible to add-apt-repository ppa:mutlaqja/indinightly on raspbian.

Following Jo's suggestion I installed ubuntu-mate 20.04 on a different pi and was able to get ppa:mutlaqja/indinightly to work. But there's no TheSkyX for arm64, which I need for my Paramount.

So I went back to my raspbian setup and built from source. Took a couple hours but working fine now.

Thanks for your contributions to the internal guider!
