Hello,

Has anyone an atik GP working with indi? I just received a brand new atik one 6 kit and everything works out of the box on my raspberry pi 2 except for the atik gp.

Not sure if the problem is due to the pi, indi, atik driver...

Hi, unfortunately you are right, it seems there is a bug in GP code introduced in last ATIK driver. I'll fix it later today. Peter

Hi, GP code is fixed, you can download new version from here: www.cloudmakers.eu/atikdrivers/ .

It does work with my Pi, but with very short cable only...

Please remember, this is actually webcam, so you can use only exposure times corresponding to some supported framerate, e.g. 0.5s, 0.2s, 0.1s or 0.05s (~1.875, 3.75, 7.5 or 15 fps). Peter

Great, thank you!!
I will try it tonight.

Not sure what you mean about frame rates. Is 0.5sec. the maximum exposure time I will be able to use? I guess it will not be enough for guiding in some fields.

Yes, I don't know how to capture longer exposure than 0.5s with this camera. I believe it is possible, but I don't know how to do it yet. Peter

Thank you! I tried it last night without succeed. I was able to connect to it with INDI, but I could not take any shot. I was not able to see it as guider in ekos either. I will try again tonight. I must be doing something wrong.

I hope to get it working. Maybe 0.5sec. bin2x2 is enough... If I can't get it working I will have to switch to Windows for a while, I am afraid. I have to test my atik one!!!!!!

Try
atik_ccd_test -short 0.5
instead of INDI and Ekos, it will use the same driver code, but with verbose output... Peter

Thank you Peter.

I got it working by accident
It seems to me Atik GP needs a lot of power. As soon as I connect it without any other device it works. I was playing for a while to get a proper combination, and it only works when it gets plenty of power. It is not enough with Atik One 6 without aux power or my powered USB Hub (2Amps) shared with mount and Atik One 6. But it works... I will try to test if I get enough stars through OAG at f6.5

Hi Peter,

I saw atikccd-0.45-v7-armhf.deb. A new version, a new hope...

Any news about Atik GP 0.5 sec exposure limit?

Thanks for your nice work anyway.

Regards,
Gus
