Compiling Examples was created by sbm

I see lots of great examples in the developers section of the website, but it has been quite a struggle for me to actually compile any of the examples on my own (the client specifically). What all do I need to get a simple example client compiled and running on Debian/Ubuntu? Is there a simple g++ command to compile these? I apologize if I sound ignorant, but I have been failing to compile the client example for the last couple of days. Thanks for all your help!

If you follow the instructions in HOWTO: Building Latest INDI , then after checking INDI from subversion and compiling it, it should also compile all the examples/tutorials, including the simple client tutorial. Just go the build directly and you'll see them under the examples directory.
