I don't see any E/W reverse option in the hand controller. Does INDI have one?

I just heard from another CEM120 user that the LEFT button should make my mount rotate CLOCKWISE.
Perhaps iOptron did this on purpose?

If that's the case, then it explains why tracking and slewing to targets work perfectly.

Perhaps the CEM120 driver is reversed?

Is your mount set to the North Hemisphere or does it think it is in Patagonia?

LOL. Yes, it knows where it is located. It has built in GPS, plus I double checked that too. :)

Micheal Covington thanks that it is probably an attempt to accommodate the reversed view through a telescope.

At the time being, I updated the iOptron driver to reverse the behavior, so wait until next nightly and test out again.

Wow! That's fantastic Jasem. When will the nightly be ready to upload? I'll test it tonight.

That's just the driver for the CEM120, right? I don't know off-hand which one that is using, but my iOptron CEM25 and SmartEQ mounts do not show that behavior and they use the ieq driver and CEM60 driver, respectively.

Jasem, thank you for the update. The rotation is correct now. But the program tries to take a photo BEFORE the dome has rotated into position, so the images are blank and the alignment routine fails!

Thank you for the report... yes the dome is not factored at all in the alignment module. Would have to work on this.
