Are there conditions / mounts where you wouldn't want to enable the option: reverse dec on pier-side when reusing calibration?

Thanks! This answered it for me.
Celestron Any Model Reverse dec output needed: No Confirmed for CGX, CGE and CGE Pro models, probably the same for all mounts with the Nexstar+ hand control

You should definitely verify it the first time.
Calibrate on one side, slew over to the other side reusing the calibration, and make sure it guides well.
If it is set wrong, the guiding in DEC will go crazy pretty quickly (as it would be pulsing/correcting in the opposite direction it should).

My CEM60 needs it unchecked, it does the reversal internally in firmware. IIRC my Synscan/eqmod based GP-DX also needed it unchecked (but I haven't used it in a year :( )
