collapsed log area - HELP!

collapsed log area - HELP! was created by Doug S

I managed to get this collapsed accidently.   Now I have no message area at the bottom of the display.   All I have is 3 dots and they don't seem to re-expand.   Can someone clue me in as how to do this?   Shouldn't this be fixed permanently so it can't do this?

I got it back by exiting entirely and restarting, but this is a good tip. for the future.....thank you. Cheers, Doug
