Hi Jasem,

The ASI EFW driver is not recognised in Ubuntu 20.1 as per the post mentioning this issue.

WOW!!! ALL drivers are working now again!
pawel-soja found the solution: github.com/indilib/indi/issues/1438 . Many, many thanks to him! My day - or better my night - is saved .
I think it will not last very long and the working drivers will be available on ppa.

Jasem,

Please take the following as progress feedback.

I trust that all the 20.10 and 20.04 indi packages (and 21.04?) will be regenerated. Today, I found that indi-bin, libindi-data and libindi1 had been updated. That was insufficient to resolve the issue on the laptop which has only been updated with the binaries.

As pawel-soja indicated on github, if I recompile indi and all its libraries, including 3rd party, everything seems to be working OK.  (My NUC has the recompilation but the laptop is binaries from the PPA only.)

Ubuntu PPA is not updated yet. Launchpad is down for the last few hours. Will re-try a build once it's up.

When the drivers are updated, will the fix appear in the "stable" PPA, or only in the nightlies?

Jasem,

what is the status. I have seen a few drivers being updated (celestron-aux) but nothing else yet. Any time frame when this will be fixed.

It seems that my issues were fixed in last night's PPA updates for the nightlies for Ubuntu 20.0.4 on an Odroid-N2.

Well; not for me. Atik and Omegon (toupcam) still not working. ASI cameras seem to connect.
